About the Role

We are now seeking an Engineering Manager based out of our Mumbai office. In this role you will lead a full-stack team (8-12 Engineers & technical leads) focused on developing new products and features for our Consumer and Private FX products. The engineering manager will play a critical role in ensuring we maintain and develop high coding and architectural standards.

What you'll do

• Build new products- you’ll support your team to deliver a wide range of new products and features.
• Collaboration- You’ll work closely with cross functional stakeholders including product managers, designers and architects to define requirements and design solutions for our product suite.
• Developing talent- you’ll hire and empower our engineers to be the best engineers they can be, while maintaining a supportive and engaging team culture.
• Raise the technical bar- You insist on high standards of technical design and implementation and ensure your systems are operationally excellent.
• Plan and prioritise impactful technical investment initiatives for your teams

What you'll need

• Experience of engineering leadership with a strong background in modern software architecture, distributed systems and cloud technology (AWS)
• Experience leading product engineering teams, including B2B APIs. The team will work on modernising existing tools as well as taking others from 0 to 1
• 3 years minimum experience working as an Engineering manager in a highly regulated environment, with experience working as an engineer in a business with a similar tech stack
• Experience in rapidly improving and maintaining coding and architectural standards
• Previous experience with another financial technology companies with a global footprint

Bonus points

• Previous experience at a B2B/B2C Payments Provider
• Experience of leading teams focused on taking new features from 0 to 1
